Ferrari California 2+2

The Ferrari California was unveiled to the public at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and saw Ferrari revive a name from the 1950’s 250 GT California Spyder. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.3 litre, V8 engine with 453bhp, the California is a grand touring 2 + 2 sports car. This new car represented a number of firsts for Ferrari; the first front engined Ferrari with a V8, multi-link rear suspension, seven speed dual clutch transmission and the first Ferrari with a folding metal roof. With a stated top speed of 193 mph and acceleration that sees the car go from 0 – 62 mph in under 4 seconds, the California has what can only be described as supercar performance.  The California is a Ferrari that offers the thrill of a sports car with the practicality of a grand tourer.
