Jaguar E-Type Series II 4.2 Roadster

The Jaguar E-Type Series II 4.2 Roadster offered here at Autostorico is finished in Regency Red with Black leather interior trim and Black hood.

Supplied new by Jaguar Cars of New York to its first owner Mr J Gernon of Illinois in 1969, this lovely example spent most of its life in America. Ownership passed to Mr Brian Jones an EngIish businessman living in the States in the early 1990s. He undertook a  comprehensive body off restoration, which included a compete engine and drivetrain rebuild, as well as suspension components, new brakes, rebuilt steering system, new factory correct upholstery and carpets, new soft top and cover, all new trim, badges, emblems and a bare metal respray.

Upon returning to the United Kingdom in 2015 the new owner decided to convert the car to RHD. Passing into the current owners hands in 2019 this well sorted E-Type drives exceptionally well and is ready to celebrate the E-Type’s 60^th anniversary.

Offered for sale with a current V5 registration document and a history file containing numerous invoices including and a photographic record of its restoration.
