Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe

The Mercedes-Benz SLS “Sport Leicht Super” AMG is a front engined, two seat luxury sports car developed by AMG as a direct replacement for the SLR McLaren.  Launched at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a spiritual successor to the 1950s 300SL ‘Gullwing’. The SLS was assembled largely by hand with the chassis and aluminium body shell produced by Magna Styer in Graz, Austria before being transferred to Sindelfingen, Germany for assembly.

The elegant, long bonnet, sculpted sides and the short yet muscular rear section make the SLS an outstandingly beautiful car. The SLS is powered by AMG’s 6.2 litre V8 engine which propels the SLS from rest to 60mph in a mere 3.8 seconds and onto a 197mph where permitted. A plethora of active safety measures, from the Electronic Stability Programme to auto-dimming rear lights, help keep the driver stable, comfortable and focused on the road ahead.

The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Coupe offered here at Autostorico is a July 2011 “11 plate” finished in the classic ‘Gullwing’ combination of Iridium Silver metallic with Red Designo leather interior. This two owner example was supplied new by Mercedes Benz Manchester into a collection where it was stored for the next 4 years. The car was then used sparingly until it was sold to it’s second, and current, owner in 2016. This beautiful example has covered a mere 4947 miles and was last serviced by Hughes of Beaconsfield at 4,594 miles just prior to the car going into storage with ourselves in 2017. Specification highlights include – Command, Bluetooth phone, Climate control, AMG Multi-spoke alloy wheels, Power fold mirrors, Xenon headlamps, Paddle-Shift sports steering wheel, Park assist with camera, Cruise control, Heated seats and Floor mats.

The car will be supplied to its new owner with a complete book pack, current V5 registration document, fresh MOT and an annual service with Mercedes-Benz.
