Aston Martin V8 Vantage Sportshift Roadster

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster was first introduced in 2007 to compete head to head against the Porsche 911 Convertible. It was the second car to be built at Aston Martin’s purpose built Gaydon facility. This iconic car used the same technology as its “Big Brother” the DB9 and was built around an aluminium riveted and bonded VH (vertical-horizontal tub). This front/mid engine two seat sports car was fitted with the all new 4.3 litre V8 engine producing an impressive 380bhp. This engine coupled with a six speed gearbox and rear transaxle setup made for one of the most balanced cars on the market with a near 50/50 weight distribution. Boasting a 0-60 mph of just 4.7 secs and onto a top speed of 175 mph. As with all hand built Aston Martin’s only the finest materials were used.

The Aston Martin V8 Sportshift Roadster offered here at Autostorico is a 2008 “08 plate” finished in Midnight Blue with Obsidian Black leather interior. Having covered a mere 30,694 miles this stunning example was supplied new through Aston Martin Amersham and boasts a comprehensive service history (12 stamps in its service book) the most recent of which was carried out at 28,795 miles. Over and above the standard specification our car benefits from: 19” Alloy wheels, HID – Xenon headlamps, Satellite navigation, Heated seats, Powerfold door mirrors, Bright finish grille, Memory seats, Bluetooth phone system, Premium sound system, Auto-dimming rear view mirror and Reverse park control.
